Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026
“Menstrual health is not just a health issue—it is a matter of dignity, equality, education, and human rights.”
On the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, Manthan Foundation organised community awareness sessions and interactive discussions with women and adolescent girls to promote safe menstrual practices, challenge harmful myths, and encourage open conversations around menstrual health. The event focused on empowering participants with accurate information, fostering dignity, and strengthening community-led awareness through our network of Period Champions.
“A world where every girl and woman can manage her menstruation safely, confidently, and with dignity is a world that advances health, education, gender equality, and human rights for all.”
Inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3, 4, 5, and 6), the initiative reaffirmed our commitment to ensuring that menstruation is no longer a barrier to education, health, opportunity, or empowerment.
