Baasab Chandana, fondly known as The Kahaani Wala, is an internationally certified storyteller, multilingual translator, and Co-Founder of Manthan Foundation, dedicated to Art, Education, and Empowerment. Guided by his belief—“Find Stories in your Life, Find Life in your Stories”—he uses storytelling as a powerful medium for emotional growth, cultural connection, and creative expression.
Through acclaimed performances like Re-Kabiraa and storytelling adaptations rooted in Indian wisdom traditions, Baasab has inspired audiences across the country. He has conducted 500+ workshops for nearly 10,000 students and trained over 2,500 teachers to integrate storytelling into education.
He also heads Aao Kahaani Baatein—a unique initiative that nurtures emotional intelligence and mental well-being through storytelling inspired by Panchatantra, Jataka tales, and Indian philosophy. Under KalaManthan, the art vertical of Manthan Foundation, he has curated literature festivals, open mics, and cultural events that have provided platforms to hundreds of emerging artists.
For Baasab, storytelling is not merely performance—it is a mission to revive cultural roots, build empathy, and transform lives through the power of stories.
